A Digital Garden of my Own

 Have you heard of digital gardens? A digital copy of your notes and a collection of your personal interests. It's like a cloud version of all the tabs you have open in your brain.

What if we sent off a message in a bottle? But the message is a link to my brain?

For this, I had to call upon my 13-year-old self, the one who created a cute page for her Neopet. I'm a highly unorganized human being, so I have to first clarify the purpose of this website. What do I want it to be? What sections do I want you to see as soon as you enter? What is the site map gonna be like? I'll dumb it down for myself, hehe.

 

First things first, let's establish the purpose: I want a collection of the things I'm obsessed with. Wishlists, movies to watch, gifs collected from the internet, shrines, and odes to my parasocial relationships.

Now, where to build it. A physical journal is obviously a good place to start, but making one online is a more proactive tool. There are places such as Sublime, or it can be made privately in the comfort of your own Notion account. Neocities is the way to go if you're into a fully customizable experience. Also, if you like to dissect readymade templates and degut them to your liking, this is the thing for you. Pretending to be a hacker is pretty cool.

Then the site map will look something like this:

On the landing page: profile, current update/log, my top 3 songs of the month, quick to-dos, and a chat box. A footer that showcases my latest art.

Nav bar: blog / zines / art / wishlist / media

Where do I stand? I have a rusty memory of how to CSS and HTML. I also want to learn how to use JavaScript, because I never got that far. As for aesthetics, I want a hyperfemme space, because that's how I I present myself.

But before I give my 12-year-old computer an aneurysm by opening an extremely loud and flashy page, we have to slow down and start with the basics.

My week in Eats

 Hi!

Here's my highlights of the week! Since things have been a bit hectic these days, I tried to make something for me me me. I'm bad at cooking for myself so I made quick things that would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. 

Some tuna with veggies, kewpie mayo and rice... seaweed to wrap each bite

Salad and some octopi turkey sausage (salchi-pulpos in Spanish). 

I've been using up my ingredients and trying to give some cuteness and make my coworkers eat what I make as well.

I want to make spring rolls... These are from a Vietnamese restaurant near my house. I went on Friday night for some drinks with my sister and some friends.

Egg rolls were yummy too! 

Then at a local brewery there was this really inspiring portrait of a Yorkie...

Saturday I had to go to Tijuana to visit the endocrinologist to read my thyroid exams... 

Before the appointment my mom and I went to this really cute café.

The avocado toast was nice! It had a really runny egg on top. Also the greens and vinaigrette on top worked nicely!

Chilaquiles are my fave dish ever! Is such a homey and cozy comfort meal. Every time I eat it I feel like my grandma is hugging me 

I am going to be talking more about food to sort of document my journey. I need to lose around 30+ kg in order to avoid difficulties in the future. I am so thankful to be completely healthy and free of any illness! I got the chance to begging a treatment for weight-loss, which overall I believe will help me learn a more active lifestyle. 

So please expect more food posts and related topics in the future!

Yes, I needed to screw some pieces first before I got to do the good stuff...

Crafting Inspo + Gets

Today's update is about my current obsession with Sanrio Puroland tags!

I just can't with these, they are so cute and the colors are so bright!

Since I'm not going to Japan any time soon, I decided to get a bit crafty and inspired with these.

I really want to make something cute, hope my idea comes to completion without many errors.

These came in the mail today and I just ordered some resin to get crafty.

Some molds and deco pieces from Alie! I am super excited about these molds!

Then not related to the tag, but I wanted a new black POSCA since the other one I have doesn't do thick lines. I swear on these markers, they are God sent!

Thrift Flip Room Decour☆

Hayo!

I few months ago I went to the swap meet with my gf to find new stuff for my room. My theme is pretty specific. Everything is pink and red and there are some variations of colors I allow. I'll do some room tour soon when I'm happy with the layout ;v;

I found some pretty kistchy stuff in rough conditions, but nothing I could not fix with lots of cleaning and a few coats of paint.

So welcome to a mini DIY of mine kkkkk

This buddy looked dead inside a little bit. Really gross and half-assed lol.

I haggled for this beauty. It was originally 20 bucks but with the original filthy state I let the seller give it to me for 10 USD (I'm so proud lol).

I know it does not look bad on photo but there was a lot of dirt and questionable goo on it.

After cleaning them I gave them a fresh coat of gesso to even them out (Thanks Moriah Elizabeth.)

After a few coats of 99cent bubblegum pink acrylic and some details in different colors for accents they are ready to go and be displayed!

he just looks about done with me and my dirty a$$ room lol

Hime Gyaru Look #1 + Short Life Update

 

Hello!

So I have been dreaming, eating and talking about Hime ever since last time you saw me here. I am almost so sick of myself at this point, because I was about to not do this today. 

Then I was thinking really hard on what gal content I needed to make for here and insta. Since I was sick I had almost no energy to do makeup at all nor take care of myself. I had also promised myself months ago that I would give Twitch a go. I feel lonely sometimes, so I think streaming can help me be more outgoing. I did a short test with some friends and I felt so awkward. I used to be energetic and loved being on camera, but the older I get the more stupid I feel. Anyways... a little Animal Crossing won't hurt anyone.

I had a really big "to do" list to finish cleaning my room, bleach my brows and take a shower... Then I did a Insta Reel and proceded to take some photos of a casual but cute bear inspired outfit and since the make was really cute... I took the chance to do one more coord. Overall, my Saturday was more productive than what I give credit to myself for. 

Also, please look at this bear pouch!!! This was a DIY Aoki and I did together while she was visiting. It's a Daiso Bear Pouch, but she made the face ♥ I did one too but mine was💩💩💩💩

Now, here comes my first official attempt at Hime. It was made with stuff I already owned, but was not confident enough to wear. The story behind this dress is that my GF commissioned two dresses for me last year. One is black and this one was supposed to be pink....  but then when I saw the actual "pink" shade it was more like an orangey/salmon color of some sort... I was both happy and sad at the same time, because the dress fit perfectly, but that pink was a bad choice. I was sad to tell my bby that I did not like the color at all, but she understood. I am just too picky about my pinks, specially when I know the actual shade I need.

For this make I wanted rosy cheeks, really noticeable and Barbie-like. I didn't use bottom eyelashes, but still tried the droop with some eyeliner and of course tear bags♥

This bow I had already, and since I do not own any exte right now... instead I did a little bun-bun high up. I personally think that hair is important, but mostly having bangs in the right area as well as framing pieces. I would maybe get a clip on curly pony tail and style it... I also saw some tutorials I'm trying later both on my hair and in a wig.

My cellphone was not liking me taking photos after sundown... so there are fucked up shadows everywhere. You can't see but I am wearing fishnets and some hold metal accesories … and the shoes are from Alie, but tbh they are a bit uncomfy.  

Overall, this dress has potential, but maybe we can rise the hemline, change the bow on the wait and maybe change the lace on the bottom?

I have more outfits planned, but please be nice to me since it's my first go (lol). I appreciate your concrit! 

For now that is all, I'm so tired and I want to bury my face in my pillows.... Maybe tomorrow will be a chill Sunday.
