Sunday Thrifting

This is my Sunday blog...

This weekend I had intention to not do much and be lazy, but according to my sister I needed some fresh air.

So she and my mum pulled me out of my cave to go thrifting and to grab food.

For late lunch/early dinner we went to a ceviche Mexican restaurant chain that we actually love. My mom had some shrimp aguachile and my sister some ceviche. 

Note: Aguachile is similar lo ceviche, but it's more limey and it has some sort of  green chiles sauce. 

Then of course seafood= margarita and beer 

Mine was a Coronita Rita.... (trying saying that multiple times)

This was a michelada, but it had some tamarind in there and it was mouth watering!

Then I had a lobster burrito, because I was feeling something creamy and cheesy instead of limey.

I don't typically buy at Salvation Army, but this was a really big one and we spent like two hours checking out every isle with patience. 

These are my gets! The best part was the price, all of these items for aprox 10 USD!

Some albums to collect my cheki and purikura :) since I have too many all over the place.

This top was nice, it reminds me of something I would have worn in 2004 or something. Anyhow, needed more tops that are not graphic t-shirts.

This one could easily go over a bralette. 

This was too good to pass! I will probably use it during fall/winter which is not too far.

My coworkers and I have this thing for long skirts and joking about looking prude-ish. So I will definitely wear it to work and rock the Sunday-school teacher vibe.

It might be too big on the waist, but I can easily adjust it with some pins. 

This wrap dress will take me out of trouble for more dressy events. I don't really go to many, but this kind of print and cut looks great on my body-type.

I needed some retail therapy, but I am glad I did not go overboard. I need to document my daily outfits, at least so I can push myself to make them interesting. The fashion bug in me was fumigated long ago... I'll try to revive it somehow.

Anyways, this was a quick chit-chat I didn't plan.

Retail Therapy Daiso Gets!

Hello!

Today's update is about my shopping today. I went to work as usual and afterwards my sister and I went to eat to our favorite Japanese Dinner place. We had some beers, takoyaki, karage and I ordered soba since summer is here. 

After eating and chatting we went to Daiso to get some really needed shopping endorphins. I would say I'm doing good with my shopping, but I still needed the distraction.

Some microwave rice, which is actually good on a pinch. I have not tried this brand, but we will see if it's not too bad. I also love seaweed as a snack and since most of my coworkers enjoy this types of things I share with them too.

The Sanrio collection is getting out of hand... like I need everything every time I go into that isle.

I contained myself and got this heart cookie mold to do some clay and decoden with.

For my resin and journaling I got this tiny stickers.

Pooh is been lately on my radar since I went to Disneyland... Also, a picnic mat can be used many ways! I can't wait to organize a picnic and make cute snacks. Also it could double as a photo background...

Some puffy stickers for my gf. She loves Baymax so much!

For my personal care I got this cleanser from work, since I ran out and I like it so much. It's great and gentle with all skin types. I have been working with this project since 2019, so it would be nice to give it a recommendation boost. 

This is it for today....I'm so tired, but I look forward to posting in here. Now I'm off to fill in my journal entry....

Truth is things are never 100% okay, so I can give it my all and continue being resilient. I hope for everyone to have the strength to see tiny good things who are worth being here.

Crafting Inspo + Gets

Today's update is about my current obsession with Sanrio Puroland tags!

I just can't with these, they are so cute and the colors are so bright!

Since I'm not going to Japan any time soon, I decided to get a bit crafty and inspired with these.

I really want to make something cute, hope my idea comes to completion without many errors.

These came in the mail today and I just ordered some resin to get crafty.

Some molds and deco pieces from Alie! I am super excited about these molds!

Then not related to the tag, but I wanted a new black POSCA since the other one I have doesn't do thick lines. I swear on these markers, they are God sent!

Pinky Paradise Gets + Extra Thrift Find

Hello! ヾ(´〇`)ﾉ♪♪♪

We're not short from the holidays... so here's my spirit? I guess? I live thru my friend's pets, I can't have one myself so I appreciate if you send me pet photos instead of children's. Thank you! 

Honey is my mom's Calico cat, she's the sweetest most calm cat ever.

This is Siego, my roomie's pupper! He's the bestest boy and loves to complain if I don't pet him enough...

Anyhow, my daily update is about my circle lenses! I'm so excited to try monthly lenses for my everyday looks! I bought everything from Pinky Paradise. I normally use Uniqso, but I wanted to get some GEO and Vassen.

I got a case for every pair. As expected from this store.

Monthly ones come in plastic capsules vs. the glass vials for yearly ones. 

I got 2 monthly pieces and 2 yearly ones. I will be letting you know how they feel as I open them.

These are the Euroasia collection in Khaki Green. My first opinion is that they are super comfy, I felt like I was wearing regular contacts. The down side is that they are really bright, so probably you might want to compensate with a heavier makeup. My coworker said I looked like a cat kkkk... but in a good way, I guess? Eyelashes would be a better idea. There is not much enlargement effect, but there's a circle around so that aids with the effect. It looks great with light eyes, so it will be no problem with dark eyes either.

ヽ(o´∀`)ﾉ♪♬ my extra thing for this post is this jacket my sis got for me! My wardrobe is growing slowly. I need to try it out with my LL dress, for sure!

It's vintage! 

No doubt my sis knows me so well. 

〜(￣▽￣〜) I think that's it for today. I have to sleep keep working cuz it is stream day... so I need to get my ish together before heading home.

Recent Finds and My Blue Moment

( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡Aló~♡

Lately I feel like blue is a good color for me... it must be cuz I keep thinking of my concert coord.

I tried a no eyelash make again... and I really liked the result. I love my shape and also how soft the nose contour ended up. This look was for my Thursday stream. I played Apex legends and felt really stressed because my pc keeps freezing (╬`益´) Like srly! I suck more cuz my resolution is not the best... 

Soft nudy gloss is my fave combo with blue!

A really ugly closeup I sent my friend, cuz I wanted her to admire how blue my eyemake was kkkkk.

For the concert we are only allowed in clear bags... so I got this one from Amazon. I wanted to see what fits and tested out with my Koya pouch and attached my Mang keychain. 

The RJ fan was just to show off, lol. I got that one for free using my charm ☆⌒(ゝ。∂) at a work event I went to this year. It was funny cuz I wanted to buy it, but it wasn't for sale... so the guy saw me a bit down and let me chose whatever I want it. I guess I was so annoying he wanted to get rid of my a$$.

Then today I went to Burlington thinking on completing my coord for next Saturday.

I am not sure what California has in store, so I thought just to be sure I could get something to layer with. This coat is nice and neutral tones go well with pastels and almost everything.

Blue peekaboo(b) sweater. So soft! 

FYI! BURLINGTON HAS MUDD! I'm so happy they got so many 90s inspi pieces like mules and purses. My sister insisted that I needed this purse. She was right, she knows me. Best get!

I wanted booths to go with my LL pieces, but these ones are so comfy I couldn't help it. Next time I'll get white/cream ones ☆⌒(≧▽​° )
